The day after winning a silver medal for Great Britain in the women’s heptathlon, Jessica Ennis-Hill made time to visit OMEGA House in Rio on Sunday.

As an OMEGA brand ambassador, Jessica was keen to visit the house on Ipanema Beach and reflect on her incredible achievement at the Olympic Games. When asked how she was feeling after the rigorous competition, she said, “Just mixed emotions. Obviously relief, having just got through the two days. It was two really long days and it was physically draining and emotionally draining. And I was just really proud to come to my second Olympic Games and come away with a silver medal. “

Jessica also spoke about her immediate plans and the one thing she is looking forward to the most. “Literally just getting home. I can’t wait to walk through the front door and see my husband and my little boy and give him a big hug. I just want to celebrate with my immediate family and then just see everyone and have a big celebration.

With a silver medal around her neck, added to her gold medal from London 2012, Jessica now returns to the UK where she will be greeted as a true Olympic Games legend.
