For the fourth time in history, the Olympic Games are coming to Italy. The winter events in Milano and Cortina will begin on February 6th, 2026, and once again, OMEGA will fulfil its vital role as Official Timekeeper.

In fact, OMEGA’s experience as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games now spans 32 editions across the globe since 1932. What began with one watchmaker and a suitcase full of stopwatches, has now transformed into a comprehensive and critical job that requires hundreds of expert timekeepers and hundreds of tonnes of equipment. The role that OMEGA performs is now essential to every result, and helps to serve each athlete, judge, and spectator during every split-second moment.

Milano Cortina 2026 will feature 116 events across 8 sports. Iconic winter sports, such as Alpine Skiing, Speed Skating, and Bobsleigh, will be joined by modern additions, such as Snowboarding and Freestyle Skiing, as well as the Olympic debut of Ski Mountaineering. It’s a dynamic mix of competitions that will surely appeal to spectators of every age.

OMEGA is thrilled to take its place at the venues of these Olympic Winter Games and be part of another history-making occasion. As you will see in the following video, the brand will be bringing its most advanced equipment to ensure every moment is captured in immersive detail.
